BIO
Brent
Falco was born and raised in Louisville, KY. By the age of six she
was glued to the
TV set watching William Wyler’s 1939 “Wuthering Heights” on
the Disney Channel. It was then that she knew she would one day
follow in the footsteps of Merle Oberon and Laurence Oliver in the
spotlight
of Hollywood. Many neighbors would walk by the yard and see Brent
singing and dancing the day away, and during those southern summer
nights she
would
often perform for them. But, the first time she took the stage
was at the age of eight playing a Cardinal narrating how Kentucky
was formed.
With
much success and applause she decided to stretch her creative talent,
and won the young authors award in sixth and eighth grade.
During
high school, Brent kept up her creative talents in the drama club
and
acting in the senior school play Neil Simon’s “Brighton
Beach Memoirs”.
But, she couldn’t deny the athlete in her also. She went on to
become a three-time NCA All-American Cheerleader and All-State softball
player.
From
there Brent went on to Centre College, and soon became part of the
drama program staring in their one-act festival her freshman year.
But,
it was during
her sophomore year that Brent made the decision to pursue her dream
to
become an actor and writer professionally, after the death of a dear
friend. She studied
in London for a semester, and then went on to receive a Masters Degree
in Playwriting from Humboldt State University.
Since being in Los Angeles
Brent has had three 10-minute plays and one full length play produced;
acted in two TV shows; one music video; three
short films; and
one feature film.
